ENERGY OPPORTUNITIES
We provide energy solutions covering wind, solar and storage technologies.
WIND
We will initially carry out a desktop analysis of your site to check on environmental, landscape and access constraints. Each project and piece of land is unique and we can take you through the next steps required to consent, construct and operate a wind energy project. We are able to listen and take into consideration any specific requirements that you may have for the project.
To obtain consent, the development of a wind project will require the provision of an environmental impact assessment which whilst including the carrying out of environmental studies will also require consultation with both statutory consultees (e.g. Nature Scot or Natural England) and non-statutory consultees (e.g. community councils and local residents).
We are not tied into any specific turbine suppliers and will optimize the project to use the best in class technology for the land. We have in depth knowledge of the newest turbines and an inhouse capability to predict the wind resource and manage the design of the wind farm.
PHOTOVOLTAIC
Falck Renewables focus on Ground-mounted plants
• Surfaces>10 hectares
• All types of ground, but preferably land with agricultural classification of at least 3
The first step in analyzing your land will be a desktop analysis. Whilst generally the PV plants are unlikely to have any moving parts, the technology for PV panels is continuously evolving. Therefore depending on the size, topography of your land, Falck Renewables can provide a high level overview of the potential project on your land. We would be very happy to take into account of any specific requirements you may have for the land.
In general most sub-50 MW PV projects will not require a full environmental assessment so it should be possible to develop a ground mounted PV project much faster than a wind project. Falck Renewables has both strong design and procurement capabilities for PV in-house.

YOUR BENEFITS
What are the advantages of renting the land?

INDIVIDUALS
Benefit from a secure long-term rent (30-40 years) by installing a green energy plant on your land.
We take care of everything: planning process and finances. No investment (in time or money) required.

COMPANIES
Modernise your image whilst collecting rent money: advertise your contribution to the energy transition.
Provide for your electrical demand from a captive green power generation.

PUBLIC ENTITIES
Transform your region’s image and help meet decarbonisation targets by promoting and deploying green power generation locally.
Direct benefits derive from rental income and business rates, increasing the available public funding for local services & regional projects that would benefit local residents and businesses.
FALCK RENEWABLES AS A PARTNER
We are enablers of sustainable change
Falck Renewables has grown over the years, but has not forgotten its pioneering community spirit. We are committed to working closely with the local communities who live near our plants, making sure to share part of the economic value where it is generated and adopting advanced practices to minimize the environmental impact of our activity. Our shared value creation models have been quoted by the UK government and are also studied by university students.
We want the new generations to be able to count on a progressive reduction in emissions, based on sustainable values, capable of ensuring development and growth. Using the skills of our transversal and integrated teams, we are active globally to develop, build and manage projects that contribute to the goal of a sustainable future.
